Powered by the passionate belief that every child can achieve greatness, and driven by the opportunity to train and develop the next generation of leaders, Jimmy McMikle has dedicated his life to service. For more than 20 years, he has inspired and empowered thousands of youth throughout the country. He has designed, developed and implemented various youth programs. He has spoken to crowds of children, college students, parent groups, and professionals alike, championing achievement and enabling youth. As President of the McMikle Group, his company and personal motto is, “Educate, Inspire, and Empower!” 

Jimmy McMikle’s two children’s books “Hey Big Boy” and “Hey Big Girl,” provide powerful life directional messages to youth of all ages. He is the founder of the D.R.E.A.M. NOW Program, an intensive youth leadership program whose mission is “to develop responsible, educated, adaptive minds for future leadership.” He believes there is a pressing urgency to develop the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual competencies critical to future leadership proficiency in our youth. Widely regarded as a leader among leaders, Jimmy McMikle is the regional president of the Northeastern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. 

He leads an organization of (student and alumni) college-educated men that provide social action, political action, youth leadership and youth education programming in approximately 70 communities in the northeastern geographical region of the United States of America and in Germany. Mr. McMikle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University where he earned All Big- Ten Conference honors as a sprinter for the school’s Track & Field team. As a member of three indoor Big-Ten Championship and two outdoor Big-Ten Championship teams, Jimmy is still one of the current record holders for the University’s 4x100 meter relay team. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. Jimmy McMikle and his wife currently reside in Windsor, Connecticut, where they are raising two future leaders, a son and a daughter.
